A notice to forums running PHP 7.1.33 and below! Please note that esoBB 1.0.0 delta 2 (1.0.0d2) is the last version of esoBB to support PHP 7.1.33 and below. The 1.0.0d3 installer requires PHP 7.2.x or newer. Forum administrators who are still using PHP 7.1 or older should update to the latest version of PHP as soon as possible. For support in doing so, you may reach out to the community forum.
This chart may be used to determine the compatibility of each version of the esoBB forum software with your current PHP installation. If you are running PHP 7.2 or newer, you should download the latest version of the software. If you are running an older version of PHP, you may consult the chart to determine which version of esoBB you should download.

The latest version of esoBB is 1.0.0 delta 3 (1.0.0d3). Before downloading the forum software, please make sure to understand the following:
esoBB is still in the development stage and should not be considered "production-ready" until the initial production release of the software. As such, there is no guarantee that it does not contain bugs and/or potential security vulnerabilities.
As an early adopter of the esoBB forum software, we encourage you to fulfill your due dilligence by reporting any known issues to the GitHub repository. The GitHub issue tracker is used to keep track of any known issues which exist in the current iteration of the software. By reporting about the working state of the software, you are helping to participate in the esoBB community and thus improve the forum software for everyone, including yourself.
By downloading the esoBB forum software, you agree to the GNU General Public License v3.0 as stipulated in the LICENSE file located in the parent directory of the software.
If there is a problem with the latest release of the esoBB forum software, the best course of action is to create an issue if there isn’t one already, or to start a new conversation on the community forum. Downgrading to an older version of the forum software rarely solves anything and is only really ever useful in the context of development. If you run a production forum, you should maintain the latest version of the software, or else you may risk exposing your users to potential security vulnerabilities.
The following downloads consist of versions of the esoTalk forum software up until 1.0.0 beta 2; this is the last actual release of esoTalk beta, and any subsequent releases of esoTalk contain an entirely separate code base from esoBB. Plugins written for esoBB are unlikely to work properly on esoTalk, if at all, and plugins written for esoTalk will most definitely not work on esoBB.
