About the forum

geteso.org, also known as "eso" (es.o̤) is a simple web forum where anyone can create an account and submit posts. It has no particular subject to which every member is oriented, however serves as a center for unmoderated* "free speech" content that does not violate federal law. We have never had a successful demand for user information and are not under any gag orders, or court orders issued by any recognized authority.

Certain conversations on this forum may be directed towards mature audiences only. Those sections may not be suitable for minors, and users less than 18 years of age may not proceed into those threads. It is assumed that the end user understands these terms as a condition of using the forum.

Moderation of the forum

*While we aim towards free speech, some level of moderation is required. This is not—and never will be—an "anarchy" discussion board for one key reason: we would like to preserve the longevity of any and all discussions posted here. Moderators are given the permission to delete posts which do not pertain to their original conversation, are indecipherable, or have been posted repeatedly (are spam). In addition, moderators can delete conversations which fall into the above criteria as well as "suspend" members from making new posts.

Sexualized depictions of minors, including "lolicon," may not be embedded in conversations or uploaded as profile pictures on the basis that it depicts underage children in a sexual manner, even if some posit that the characters exist in a fictional state. Moderators have placed special restrictions on pornography-related conversations in order to prevent the creation of duplicate threads and encourage high-quality discussion.

Administrators are capable of everything mentioned in the above paragraph however are primarily concerned with the technical aspects of maintaining this forum. They are also responsible for our small team of moderators.
