I've made some considerable changes to the forum software during my free time throughout this week, thanks to inclement weather and allocations made earlier this month which have allowed me to dedicate a better schedule to my "online projects."

• Shouts have returned to the forum and have been slightly revamped with a new submission interface that should make better use of mobile interfaces. I plan on going further with this by making it easier to edit and delete shouts on mobile.

• Dark mode is back, along with a new contrast feature that works independent of dark mode. Older screens, especially aging liquid crystal displays with modified backlighting, can potentially benefit from this filter. It mainly serves the purpose of giving dark mode users more control over how "dark" they'd like their interface to be.

• The time at which new posts have the potential to display in the conversation view has been cut in half from its original value of four seconds to two seconds. The "auto reload interval multiplier," (if new posts are checked for and there are none, the value is multiplied by this number) remains 1.5. In short, ongoing discussions should appear faster and delayed responses to those posts will register more accurately.

• I've halved the cooldown limit between posts from 10 seconds to 5 seconds.
