Frequently asked questions

How can you [the webmaster] be trusted? I can't demonstrate the lengths to which I would go in protecting you, the user, and your information; not without there being an actual legal threat, and that is something which we hope never happens. I've been managing "unmanaged" services for quite some time, and as someone who uses this forum to communicate with others, I have no intention of giving it up.

What if I lose access to my e-mail? If you are ever locked out of your e-mail and cannot sign into your account (you've also forgotten the password) then you are better off making a new account, because I [the webmaster] will never change a user's credentials. If you lose access to your e-mail and can still manage to sign in, then there's a forum for updating your e-mail address under the "my settings" page.

Can I change my name? No. I'm never going to make it possible to change your username, so stop asking, as you are only wasting your time. The best course of action is to choose a username which you will not regret going into the future.
